Transcript of a short biographical talk on Lillie Smith, founder of Girton House in February, 1915 (became Girton Proprietary School 1926, and in 1942 changed its name again to Girton Girls' School. In 1974 the school amalgamated with King's College to become Pembroke School); as presented on Personalities remembered on Radio 5CL, and broadcast by the A.B.C in December 1970.
